1. Service and operator

ASTRAEA is a browser-based service for AI conversations with fictional characters, storytelling and roleplay. ASTRAEA is our service brand; this name does not represent a claim that the operator is an LLC or other incorporated company.

These Terms apply to your use of ASTRAEA. You can contact us through our form, published email address or telephone number. We will promptly provide the operator’s name, address and other information required to be disclosed by applicable law on request. Please request information needed for a purchasing decision before purchasing.

2. Age and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are a minor under the law where you live, you need your parent or guardian’s consent. Any higher local age requirement or additional consent requirement also applies.

Provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. Do not impersonate others or share or sell accounts without authorization. Contact us promptly if you discover unauthorized use.

3. AI-generated content

Conversations and stories are fictional. AI output may contain errors, inappropriate language or unexpected material. We do not guarantee accuracy, originality, a particular result or uninterrupted availability. Do not rely on the service for medical, legal, investment or other professional decisions.

Do not submit confidential information or personal information about others that you are not authorized to share. You can report inappropriate output or suspected rights violations through our contact channels.

4. Prohibited conduct

Illegal activities, harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, privacy or intellectual property infringement, and malware are prohibited. Adult, pornographic and sexually exploitative content or conversations are outside the service’s offering; using the service to create or access such material is prohibited.

Do not gain unauthorized access, obtain another person’s data, bypass access controls, usage limits or billing, disrupt the service with automated requests, or fraudulently obtain Silver Coins or rewards. We may remove content, restrict access or suspend accounts as reasonably necessary to address violations or abuse.

5. Content and rights

Rights in the service software, design and character materials belong to the operator or their respective rights holders. Using the service does not give you rights in third-party characters, trademarks or works. Do not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit protected materials without permission or another lawful basis.

You retain any rights you hold in your submissions. You permit us to process them as needed to provide and store the service, maintain security and respond to inquiries. We do not guarantee that AI output qualifies for copyright protection or exclusive ownership.

6. Silver Coins and payment

Silver Coins measure service usage within ASTRAEA. Consumption varies with the feature, model, processing volume and displayed applicable conditions. Coins are not money, a deposit or an investment. They cannot be transferred between users, assigned to third parties or exchanged for cash.

When payment is enabled on the recharge page, you can buy Silver Coins at the displayed Japanese yen (JPY) price. Check the amount and coin quantity before paying with PayPal. Coins are credited to the purchasing account after we confirm completed payment. Coins granted through registration or promotions cannot be redeemed for cash. Minors need parental or guardian consent for purchases.

7. Refunds and faults

See our separate Refund Policy for purchases and Silver Coins. Dissatisfaction with a generated story or a temporary generation failure does not guarantee an automatic refund or coin return. We investigate duplicate charges, missing credits and service faults against the relevant records. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

8. Changes, termination and liability

Features, service conditions and available models may change or be suspended for maintenance, security or changes in service providers. We will give advance notice of material changes where reasonably possible.

We will publish revisions and their date and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights arising from earlier purchases. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
